We are looking for an amazingly well-rounded CorpSec Executive to help quickly grow our business in Singapore. You will be forward-thinking, with a desire to work in a progressive, tech-assisted environment.

You must be able to prioritise your tasks and work comfortably under pressure.

Position Duties

  • You will report to the Australia Corporate Secretary Manager and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery, timely execution, accurate billing, and strong client relationships. Your role will be key in driving client satisfaction and retention.
  • As a primary point of contact for your clients, you will be approachable and available to address their needs effectively. Additionally, you must be willing to be appointed as a named secretary for clients in your portfolio.
  • You are expected to plan and manage your workload efficiently, delivering services within the agreed scope and timelines. From the outset, you should demonstrate expertise in Australia’s regulatory framework, including but not limited to the Corporations Act, financial reporting requirements regulated by ASIC, and compliance aspects of various company structures in Australia.
  • A deep understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives will be essential for success in this role. You will leverage this knowledge to provide tailored support and guidance.
  • You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, offering guidance on complex client matters to ensure issues are resolved effectively and appropriately.
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders will be essential to drive strategic outcomes such as process automation, optimized workflows, exceptional customer service, filing accuracy, statutory compliance, and improved profitability.
  • At all times, you and your team must operate with efficiency and effectiveness, continuously improving processes and knowledge-sharing. Above all, you are expected to uphold the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.

Requirements

Performance Standards

  • Recognised degree/diploma in Business Administration / Corporate Services / Legal Studies or equivalent.
  • Preferably more than 5 years experience in client facing and handling complex corporate secretarial matters including experience being named company secretary.
  • Proven track record of working in a fast paced and technology driven organisation.
  • Good understanding of Australia's regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Google workspace and Microsoft applications.
  • Resourceful and experience with various productivity software applicable to facilitate daily work
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive, highly-organised and detail-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to VUCA way of thinking and contribute to process improvement efforts.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
