📌 About the Position:

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies to drive organic growth for a portfolio of clients. This role oversees the full lifecycle of SEO initiatives—from strategy creation to implementation and performance analysis—while providing clients with clear, data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

You’ll stay current on algorithm changes, SEO trends, and emerging tools to ensure strategies remain effective and cutting-edge. This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact in client performance and contribute meaningfully to broader marketing goals.

This role reports to a member of the SEO leadership team. The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000, based on experience.

SEO Strategy Development:
You’ll conduct keyword research, technical audits, and competitive analysis to craft tailored SEO strategies that align with client objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
You’ll partner with internal teams—including creative, development, and client services—to ensure SEO tactics align with overall marketing efforts.

Performance Optimization:
You’ll continuously evaluate results and refine strategies based on data, industry updates, and best practices to improve ROI and rankings.

Reporting and Insights:
You’ll develop detailed reporting dashboards and present performance insights in a clear, actionable way to clients and internal teams.

Client Relationship Management:
You’ll work directly with clients to understand business goals, present strategic recommendations, and demonstrate how SEO supports their broader success.

Innovation and Scope Expansion:
You’ll proactively identify opportunities to apply advanced techniques and expand project scope to improve organic visibility and client value.

Holistic Search Approach:
You’ll help unify paid and organic efforts by articulating how SEO and PPC work together to maximize search performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SEO experience in an agency or digital marketing setting
  • Proven track record of implementing successful on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies
  • Proficiency in SEO and data analysis tools (e.g., Semrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex SEO insights into client-friendly language
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, content, and development teams
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress
  • Strategic mindset with an understanding of how SEO supports broader business goals
  • Experience with workflow and process optimization
  • Interest in learning and applying generative AI technologies in real-world SEO scenarios
