Job Role: Team Lead Loan Processor/Audit Specialist  

Work Schedule: This is a full-time role (8 hours per day) (Australian Timezone)

Salary range: $1500-2300 AUD / Monthly

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Team Manager (Loan Processor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of financial processes, enabling them to work effectively with business partners, brokers, and clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership & Performance Management
      • Oversee and manage all offshore staff in the loan processing and post-settlements team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
      • Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks, conducting regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
      • Implement quality control measures to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
    • Mortgage Brokerage & Lender Policy Expertise
      • Ensure offshore staff adhere to Australian mortgage brokerage standards and comply with various lender policies and guidelines.
      • Act as a point of escalation for complex loan processing and post-settlement issues, providing expert guidance.
      • Keep the team updated on changes in lender policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
    • Training & Development
      • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team knowledge on loan processing, lender policies, compliance, and customer service.
      • Conduct ongoing training sessions and workshops to ensure continuous improvement and upskilling.
      • Work closely with onshore teams to align training with business needs and ensure consistent workflows.
    • Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
      • Identify inefficiencies in loan processing and post-settlement procedures, recommending and implementing process improvements.
      • Ensure the team meets service-level agreements (SLAs) for loan processing times, settlements, and post-settlement tasks.
      • Utilise technology and automation to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
    • Stakeholder Management & Communication
      • Act as the primary liaison between offshore staff and onshore stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration.
      • Provide regular reporting on team performance, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
      • Facilitate clear and effective communication between offshore staff, brokers, and lender partners.
    • Compliance & Risk Management
      • Ensure all offshore team members adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to Australian mortgage brokering.
      • Implement risk management processes to mitigate errors and compliance breaches.
      • Maintain documentation and audit trails to support compliance with lender and industry regulations.













Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Manager for Loan Processors in an Australian loan mortgage company. 
  • Experience in mortgage brokerage 
  • Needs experience in all bank portals (pricings, valuations etc)
  • ST experience although preferred if they haven’t had experience we need someone who has had experience with a similar CRM

  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Able to adapt quickly to company’s internal tools such as AOL and bank portal 
  • Abiltiy to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
