Job description

Our client is a recognised leader in the retail industry with over 380 stores nationally. They operate in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and achieving operational excellence.

They are now looking to hire a Supply Planner who will play a vital role in ensuring the availability of stock across distribution centres and stores.

Job Responsibilities:

Create purchase orders and manage inventory for distribution centres.
Allocate stock to stores based on size, sales rate, and upcoming events.
Maintain healthy inventory levels, balancing overstock and understock risks.
Support demand forecasting and replenishment planning activities.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimise supply chain performance.
Monitor vendor performance using the DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) metric.

Requirements

Experience in supply planning, replenishment, or demand forecasting (preferred).
Proficiency in merchandise systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
