Job Description:

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the user interfaces of Salesforce applications. You will collaborate closely with our Salesforce administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that maximize user engagement and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces for Salesforce applications using Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into frontend solutions.
• Customize and extend Salesforce Lightning components to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with the Salesforce platform.
• Implement Salesforce best practices for frontend development, including data validation, error handling, and security considerations.
• Optimize frontend code and user interfaces for performance and scalability within the Salesforce ecosystem as well as develop backend code using apex to serve these functionalities.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of frontend components to ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce frontend technologies, such as Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Salesforce DX, to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce administrators, developers, and business stakeholders, to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, adhere to Salesforce development best practices, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members when needed.
• Stay informed about Salesforce platform updates and releases, evaluating their impact on frontend development practices and making necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Frontend development expertise.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) is a plus.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Angular, and their ideally integration with Salesforce.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and experience with Java.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX for source control and deployment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, are a plus.
