Job description

We are seeking a Space Planner VA to support our Interior Design team, specializing in 2D/3D layouts, animations, and presentations to help visualize learning environments for Kay-Twelve schools. This full-time, remote role focuses on behind-the-scenes design work, with no direct client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Kay-Twelve’s Interior Designer to develop efficient, customer-focused layout plans.
  • Create detailed 2D/3D floor plans, animations, and fly-through videos for presentations.
  • Assist Education Market Leaders and Project Managers in securing customer approvals.
  • Select and arrange furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to optimize space planning.
  • Support in finalizing finishes and creating color boards for projects.
  • Ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality design standards.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in space planning or interior design (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CET and Revit (preferred), with experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and other CAD tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with construction documents and technical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a design team.
