As a Datavant Trials Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of clinical trial tokenization to enable RWD linkage for Datavant’s Life Science customers. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders across customer success, product, technical solutions, and sales, to ensure that our clinical trial solutions drive real, measurable impact for customers. This is not just a project management role—it’s an opportunity to shape how trial tokenization is delivered at scale across the healthcare industry.

What you will Own & Deliver:

Project & Program Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of tokenization solutions of Datavant-contracted clinical trials, ensuring alignment with study objectives and regulatory / compliance requirements.
  • Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and key deliverables, ensuring on-time execution and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (e.g., product, technical solutions, customer success, and sales) and external life sciences sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), and eClinical / EDC partners
Client Engagement
  • Work with Datavant account teams to build and implement robust training and measurement plans for our trial tokenization solutions for each Sponsor 
  • Work with sponsor’s clinical study teams to be their trusted advisor, to educate and guide them on Datavant tokenization strategies and tactics - support and navigate ongoing questions to provide timely and quality resolution to customer needs 
  • Coordinate with Customer Support Engineer on all trial setup, configuration, and user access mgmt 
  • Standardize trial tokenization training programs, content, SOPs, and best practices to ensure smooth adoption across clinical teams - improve and iterate based on customer feedback and market learnings 
  • Program manage portfolio of trial tokenization activities by site and sponsor
  • Track and communicate progress and outcomes to leadership, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor tokenization adoption across research sites
  • Develop, implement, and drive continuous improvement in enterprise level approaches to tokenization, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with product success, compliance, legal, and data privacy teams to support processes that safeguard patient privacy, instilling confidence in customers and study teams 
  • Support audit readiness and contribute to regulatory submissions, inspections, and internal quality assurance processes.
  • Work with IT and security teams to validate system security, interoperability, and integration with electronic data capture (EDC), electronic health records (EHR), and real-world data (RWD) sources

What you bring to the table: 

  • Understanding of the Life Sciences industry, with a focus on clinical development 
  • Prior experience working with clinical operations stakeholders at life sciences organizations, contract research organizations, and/or eClinical partners 
  • Prior experience leading the scoping and delivery of clinical trial engagements including comprehensive project and engagement management related to clinical data management or healthcare technology implementation
  • Demonstrated competence in scope and expectation management
  • Proven ability to drive project-based work, managing tasks, schedules, deliverables, budgets, and project risks, in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical subject matter experts in a manner that fosters a productive environment for the project team
  • Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness in both leadership and team member roles in dynamic environments
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to build, define, and iterate

Bonus points if you have:

  • Direct experience working at a Clinical trial sponsor
  • A passion for leveraging data to drive better healthcare outcomes
  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP, GDPR, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, or other privacy regulations
  • Familiarity with real-world data and / or patient tokenization
  • Project management certification eg. Scrum, PMP, CCRA

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$100,000$125,000 USD
