Job description

We are seeking an Application Engineers to join our dynamic global Technical Services and Support (TSS) team and make a meaningful impact in industrial applications.

We are open for you to work remotely anywhere in Europe. Traveling to meet our teams and customers is part of your work.

Your role:

The Application Engineer role is a key position that will transform how we deliver solutions to our customers. You will spearhead efforts to expand our robotics line with a strong initial focus on European markets. You’ll collaborate with our global teams through Technical Services and Support (TSS) team. As the bridge between integrators, robotic manufacturers and our internal teams, you will build powerful partnerships and design tailored solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Industrial Sales: Collaborate closely with Industrial Sales to offer tailored robotics solutions that align with customer needs.

  • Conduct Assessments: Perform customer trials, feasibility studies and in-house testing to evaluate customer requirements and ensure solutions are optimized.

  • Provide Technical Support: Deliver both on-site and remote troubleshooting, commissioning/installation assistance and product demonstrations to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Drive Efficiency: Contribute to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of proposed technical solutions for the customers.

  • Document Success: Maintain thorough records of customer trials, success stories, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

  • Industry Representation: Participate in trade fairs and industry events to promote our technical expertise and product offerings.

  • Knowledge sharing: Share your knowhow and success with your team.

Most important skills/competences:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated experience in a related technical field.

  • Experience from a technical role in industrial robotics applications.

  • Hands-on expertise in robotics solutions deliveries, installations and commissioning.

  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations and providing customer support.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical challenges on-site and remotely.

  • Excellent communication skills in English to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal teams like Sales, R&D, and Production.

  • Working language is English
