Job description

Staff4Me is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Content Moderator who is fluent in Malay to join our content moderation team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and moderating user-generated content across various platforms, ensuring that all content adheres to community guidelines and company policies. Your keen eye for detail will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and positive online environment for our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, to ensure compliance with community guidelines and standards.
  • Identify and remove inappropriate, harmful, or misleading content as per established protocols.
  • Provide constructive feedback to users when necessary and escalate issues to higher management as required.
  • Monitor community engagement and report trends or recurring issues to improve content moderation policies.
  • Collaborate with other moderators to maintain consistency and uphold community standards.
  • Stay updated with platform policies and industry best practices to enhance moderation practices.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to share insights and improve the moderation process.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Malay (native or equivalent) is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in content moderation, online community management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make quick and informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and current trends in digital content.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in using moderation tools and software, with a good understanding of online safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
