What We're Looking For
Our client, a US-based direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand specializing in high-quality, stylish, and functional home essentials, is seeking a Video Editor to create dynamic, high-performing content for social media and advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta and TikTok. This role is essential for producing engaging visual content that reflects the brand’s fresh, polished aesthetic and resonates with their target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit engaging video content tailored for paid social advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity and performance objectives for each platform.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to contribute ideas, share insights on video trends, and refine content based on platform-specific performance data.
  • Stay updated on social media best practices to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in video editing for paid social media, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or other relevant editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and the nuances of paid social content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a creative team

Nice to have

  • Experience working with lifestyle or home essentials brands.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing trends and technologies in social media and video production.
