We are a product data team responsible for building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines in Snowflake to support business analytics, KPIs, and product insights. We collaborate closely with Data Analysts, SQEs, and Product Managers to understand key business needs and create custom, optimized data sources for efficient reporting and decision-making. We are looking for an Analytical Engineer to bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics. You will analyze existing data, work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop high-performing, reusable data sources that power dashboards and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
● Analyze existing data models to ensure efficiency.
● Collaborate with Data Analysts, SQEs, and PMs to understand business needs.
● Design and build custom, high-performance data sources in Snowflake.
● Optimize SQL queries and transformations for better performance.
● Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance in all models.
● Work with engineers to improve data availability and observability.
● Maintain documentation and best practices for data transformations.
● Support continuous improvements in data processing efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
● 1+ years of experience in Analytical Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI Development.
● Experience with AWS Cloud services
● Strong expertise in SQL, with experience optimizing queries for performance.
● Experience with Snowflake and data warehousing best practices.
● Ability to understand and translate business needs into scalable data models.
● Strong collaboration skills to work with analysts, SQEs, and PMs and translate them into data models.
● Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with DBT for data modeling.
● Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation.
● Knowledge of Tableau or other BI tools for data validation.
● Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.
