Job description

This is a remote position.

The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting an experienced SharePoint Developer/Programmer for its client based in the Twin Cities. This is an immediate need and the client will move quickly with the right candidates. This is a temporary assignment that is expected to last 6 months. The assignment may be extended based on performance and client's needs. The role is 40 hours/week and it may be performed remotely. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs

·        Setting up SharePoint sites, permissions, workflows, libraries, calendars and InfoPath migration.

·         Troubleshoot SharePoint issues reported by users.

·        Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes

·        Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language

·        Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems

·        Use web-based tools to create and advance applications

·        Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary

·        Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient

·        Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support

·        Provide knowledge transfer



Requirements
  • Five years experience as a developer/programmer. Master's degree may substitute up to 3 years of experience. Bachelor's degree can substitute up to 2 years experience, and Associate's degree can substitute up to 1 year of required experience.  
  • At least Two (2) consulting/temporary employment engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio focused on the end user.
  • Experience with Web User Interface Design (UI), Security, Object-Oriented Design
  • Experienced with Web Applications and SharePoint programming languages
  • Prior development experience working with a healthcare provider preferred
  • Able to pass all required background checks.
  • Capable of completing the entire engagement
  • Able to work remotely with reliable internet and attendance
