Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Account Executive 
Classification: Full Time Salary, Exempt
Salary Range:  $120,000 - $220k+
Reports to: Global Director of Sales
Date: 11/12/2024
Location: Austin, TX (This position is eligible for Remote work.)

Sales Superstar Wanted

Not for the faint of heart.  Don't bother applying if you aren't in the top 5% of sales professionals and can prove it.  
We are in the Survey LiDAR space. 
This is a highly technical and highly competitive industry... and "nice" sales people will get eaten alive.  

You will source many of your own deals.  
You will face rejection.
If you are anything less than fantastic you will burnout and fail in this role - fast.

If you are sharp, learn quickly, and can navigate a complex sales process and
if you can provide strong technical consultative selling without getting lost in the weeds...


Then you will win big and build your own empire within your exclusive territory.
Average reps make $120k.  Top reps make $220k+

Essential Functions: Lead direct sales efforts for Phoenix LiDAR’s integrated mobile LiDAR solutions in the EMEA region
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key customers, including companies in land surveying, geospatial technology, and drone/aircraft markets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Partner with regional distributors, system integrators, and resellers to expand our market footprint
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote Phoenix LiDAR products and services
  • Provide market feedback to the product development team to ensure solutions meet customer needs
  • Coordinate recommended maintenance deadlines, system recalls, warranties, and new upgrade offerings with the order management team, sales team, vendors, and customers
  • Work Environment: Primarily in an office - some outdoors / in-the-field events
  • Physical Demands: Extended periods of sitting or standing and computer use, carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs for short periods of time
  • Position Type and expected schedule: Full time, On-Site/Remote, 9:00am-6:00pm CST, Monday - Friday 
  • Required Travel: ~30%


Requirements

Competencies:
  • Intermediate proficiency in Customer Resource Management (CRM)
  • Ability to navigate, map, and manage complex sales cycles
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace Applications
  • Critical Thinking, high curiosity, and ability to synthesize technical, business, and marketing information
  • Analytical thinking with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with territory management, channel relationship development, and business development
  • Experience with carrying and surpassing territory quota (with proof!)
  • Experience working with a small, fast pace, HIGHLY driven, entrepreneurial company
