HyperGuest, a dynamic and fast-growing travel-tech company, is hiring to expand and market its game-changing distribution and commerce technology for the global accommodation industry.

We are looking for a business development person for the Mexico, Dominican Republic, Caribbean and Colombian Hotel sector, contracting hotel chains, hotel groups and independent hotels nationwide.

To excel in this role you should have a compelling sales personality, be an active listener and possess a hunger to chase and close new business with a hunter mentality. You will need a proven track record in leading sales processes with the hotel groups. You should thrive in a global start up environment and work closely with the international team.


Responsibilities

  • Engaging hotel groups to establish rapport and initiate, lead and close business
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Developing business growth and meeting sales goals

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with the industry and key players in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Caribbean and Colombia.
  • Experience in sales with hotel chains/networks - a must
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Goal oriented personality
  • Both English and Spanish are required - a must
