ODS has several opportunities for a 5-year contract supporting a federal client in the DC Metro area for accounting, budgeting, operations, and financial reporting.

Pay: $130,000-$135,000

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automated Data Management Analyst to support our client’s data management, analytics, and reporting functions. This role requires expertise in database engineering, data visualization, and process automation to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience managing automated databases, creating insightful reports using Power BI and Tableau, and developing streamlined workflows to support business objectives.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Engineer, implement, and maintain databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to optimize efficiency and data quality
  • Develop and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain and update custom sites, applications, and workflows in automated databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database and data workflow issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and validate programmatic data architecture, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Assist with data migration between platforms and databases while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with process owners to analyze data trends, methodology, and findings while contributing to corrective action plans.
  • Manage document libraries, permissions, and site standardization within automated databases.
  • Support the development of training materials and provide user education on database functions and analytics tools.
  • Develop and refine policies, reports, flowcharts, and other project documentation.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance data management and reporting efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field (experience may be substituted for education).
Experience:
  • Minimum of (8) years in data architecture, database programming, and data analytics.
  • Expert-level skills in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 or higher, including Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, and PowerApps.
  • Experience with database management, workflow automation, and data integration
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
  • Capable of interpreting management policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in government data management environments.
  • Familiarity with business process automation and workflow optimization.
  • Prior experience providing training on data visualization and reporting tools.
