Job description

Location: This position is remote within Colombia

What’s the role?

As a Senior Experience Designer at Huge, you are a highly skilled, world class professional, who will be at the forefront of creating stunning and groundbreaking digital solutions that not only solve problems but set new standards in the industry. In addition to producing exceptional work, you will be involved in hands-on projects at every stage of the life cycle, from brainstorming creative concepts with the project team to participating in client presentations and ensuring deadlines are met. Also, you will play a crucial role in influencing the skills and design perspective of junior and mid-level designers, as well as in collaborating across disciplines on a daily basis, from copywriting to analytics to client services, all while maintaining high standards for original concepts and detailed execution.

What will you do?

Creative strategy and collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, developers, and other designers, to develop creative concepts and solutions that translate into  groundbreaking digital designs.
  • Lead by example, producing kick-ass work that sets high standards for original concepts and detailed execution.
  • Influence and mentor junior and mid-level designers, fostering open communication and a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.

Hands-on design and problem-solving:

  • Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging experiences that solve problems and meet project objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights to guide the overall direction of digital design projects.
  • Utilize technology to bring designs to life and ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.

Prototyping and User-Centric Focus:

  • Champion the importance of prototyping and user-centric design principles.
  • Ensure that design solutions not only look gorgeous but also address user needs effectively.

Client interaction and project management:

  • Participate in client presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to encourage a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement that ensures project deadlines and deliverables are met.
What do we expect from you?
  • 4+ years of experience in experience design, preferably in a digital agency environments.
  • Advanced Figma expertise, including prototyping skills.
  • Experience designing and/or maintaining design systems.
  • Client-facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic design mindset – ability to think conceptually, drive storytelling, and take initiative.
  • Experience designing for both web and app platforms.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across product, data analytics, and business strategy teams.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, accessibility, and business acumen.
  • Ability to articulate, justify, and defend design decisions based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance user needs with business objectives.
  • Awareness of current design trends, emerging technologies, and innovation in the digital space.
  • Visual background and experience with AI-driven products is a plus.
