Compensation Range:           $59,000.00 - $73,500.00 (range applies to US candidates only)+ Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

OneStream is looking for a Proposal Content Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team. This is a hands-on position working closely with the Proposal Manager. The position requires excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, but also a role where you will use your content strategy experience to help define and shape the library of our proposal database for use in multiple formats, including automated programming.

The ideal candidate location is in Eastern or Central timezones. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Proposal Manager with project planning for proposal content initiatives with appropriate involvement from multiple department heads.
  • Establish relationships with proposal teams that embrace close collaboration while building credibility and trust to increase understanding of the reasoning behind writing and formatting decisions.
  • Coordinate the contributions of team members (i.e., solution consulting, finance, legal, product management, and other SMEs, as needed) and manage content and develop high-quality, compliant responses.
  • Master assigned content areas and serve as a resource for proposal team members and other business partners.
  • Maintain response library, including ensuring that all responses are up-to-date.
  • Evaluate copy/design editing by proofreading content for grammar, OneStream style guide, and messaging.
  • Manage Ombud calendar/expiring entries.
  • Create flow charts for content accuracy, clarity, and accountability.
  • Proactively manage a workload that includes responsibility for multiple proposal assignments and other tasks, as required, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field e.g. English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, Public Relations, or proven work experience.
  • Proven understanding of proposals with a track record of building high-quality content libraries.
  • 3+ years of strategic proposal development or content management, preferably in the SaaS industry.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
    • Team player: able to work both collaboratively and independently.
    • Understanding of cloud/SaaS technology.
    • Experience with software such as Ombud, RFPIO, Loopio, SalesForce, or Seismic.
    • Experience supporting a sales organization.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office’s product suite.

    Travel

    • Occasional travel may be required to support program management.
