Job description

Lead Analytics Engineer:

The Lead Analytics Engineer is responsible for aggregating and managing all data across the enterprise, and leveraging it to service internal teams and external clients to provide insights and make better business decisions. This position will evolve our efforts for ETL processes, data warehousing and data movement. The Senior Analytics Engineer will work closely with other data professionals skilled in BI, data science, and data warehousing, as well as with stakeholders across multiple internal departments.

What You'll Do:

● Act as a Subject Matter Expert for multiple data domains along with assisting in the prioritization of development
● Source system recommendations related to creation of insights or adjustments to data warehouse or smart structures
● Write SQL for reports and data aggregation
● Research gaps within data and develop opportunities for improving the upstream systems/processes
● Manage identified issues through data interpretation and analysis
● Construct and perform testing of data processes for compliance and data quality
● Assist in identifying and designing attributes for ETL processes
● Examine complex data and turn it into information and insight to inform business decisions
● Build internal and external BI and operational reports for multiple stakeholder groups
● Plans, designs, develops and performs quality assessments on data elements and structures to document and evaluate integrity, completeness, and quality
● Translate business needs into technical data solutions

What You'll Bring:

● Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related discipline (or equivalent experience); 8+ years of experience in a data analytics environment
● Ability to thrive in technically challenging environments
● Ability to lead and develop junior teammates
● Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and deadlines
● Consistent history of successfully prioritizing work efforts based upon stakeholder needs, committed delivery dates, and complexity, in a rapidly changing environment

● A demonstrated understanding of data engineering and data aggregation

The base salary for this position is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00. Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
