About The Role:
We are hiring a Senior Application Support Engineer to report to the Chief Architect at YipitData. This is a newly established function responsible for supporting data analysts and data entry teams in leveraging cutting-edge data applications that are direct inputs into our analytical products. This full-stack support role involves diagnosing and resolving bugs, implementing application improvements, and onboarding new data team members to ensure effective usage of our applications.
In this role, you will interact with modern web applications that harness our petabyte-scale data lake and play a critical role in our newest product, Signals, which offers insights on software companies. Signals is growing rapidly, and this position offers the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the growth of our company by supporting our Analyst and Engineering teams.
Additionally, you will be a key member of the Platform Engineering team, responsible for administering our state-of-the-art Data & ML platform, handling support tickets for global teams during working hours, and researching and implementing process improvements and automation to reduce the overall support burden. This high-impact role enhances the productivity of both data teams and engineers while providing exposure to cutting-edge data and AI technologies.
As Our Senior Application Support Engineer, You Will:
This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. During onboarding, we expect working hours to be 2pm -11pm IST to allow for overlap with other teammates. Afterwards, standard work hours are from 11am to 8pm IST.
