This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in the NYC area.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Sales Operations supports all U.S. sales groups and staff by coordinating multi-functional resources to support account generation and management and sales meetings and events. Administers the planning, distribution, posting and tracking of marketing materials, samples and free goods, oversees the deployment and administration of sales related technologies, and supports training and marketing and sales management as otherwise required.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job. 

  • Consistently identify opportunities for high-growth sales process improvement.
  • Build and optimize dashboards for use by sales, marketing and executive teams. 
  • Assist in constructing reliable forecast model across multiple deal and company sizes. 
  • Engage Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs leadership and staff to determine the requirements necessary to support account generation and management and sales meetings and events. 
  • Coordinate with multi-functional resources to address the requirements to support account generation and management and sales meetings and events. 
  • Manage the planning for supply and distribution, posting and tracking of samples, free product, card stock, launch materials, literature, and other relevant items to sales reps or customers as requested by sales. 
  • Ensure that the deployment of samples, free product, and other company collateral and assets requested by sales are appropriately approved and fall within budgeted boundaries. Raise any outliers to the appropriate senior management. 
  • Oversee the deployment and administrations of salesforce.com. 
  • Work with the Technology Department and/or other department heads in the testing and implementation of new reporting/functional systems that impact outside sales and/or external customers. 
  • Support sales training in the deployment of internal and customer training as required. 
  • Support training, marketing, and sales management with day to day administrative activities. 
  • Actively participates in all required training and development programs and electives as may suit one’s needs, and support colleagues, trainers and management as appropriate with these efforts.

What you Need:

Experience and/or Education: By training, education and/or experience, employee must be able to perform the essential duties of the job. High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Minimum two years of related experience in Sales Support, industry standard ERP systems, and Business Analytics platforms required. Customer Relationship Management Program experience a plus.
