Litigation Consultant – TrialQuest, a subsidiary of USLS

As a Litigation Consultant, you will play a vital role in managing and executing research projects that provide strategic insights to trial teams. You’ll be instrumental in conducting jury research, preparing for trials, and supporting various stages of litigation. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
📍 Location: Flexible (Remote work considered)
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday (hours may vary based on client needs)
What You’ll Do:
Research & Trial Preparation:
• Conduct focus groups, mock trials, and jury research, including moderating groups and analyzing feedback.
• Develop research methodologies, create study schedules, and design juror questionnaires.
• Analyze case materials, review jury instructions, and contribute to strategic trial recommendations.
• Perform post-trial juror interviews and summarize insights for trial teams.
Project & Client Management:
• Manage research projects from planning to execution, ensuring seamless execution.
• Oversee logistics such as securing venues, coordinating travel, and managing research site needs.
• Engage with clients to understand research objectives, present findings, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Maintain project timelines and budgets while coordinating with vendors, recruiters, and accounting teams.
Data Collection & Analysis:
• Perform social media and background research on potential jurors.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis using tools like SPSS.
• Summarize research findings into reports, charts, and presentations for client use.
Jury Selection & Arbitration Support:
• Assist with jury selection, including creating juror profiles, voir dire questions, and seating charts.
• Support arbitration studies by screening arbitrators, managing contracts, and coordinating research.
• Conduct venue and verdict research to provide insights into trial strategies.
What You Bring to the Table:
• Strong research and analytical skills with experience in social science methodologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research tools; experience with SPSS is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel (15-20% of the time) and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted as needed.
