Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description: Procurement Agent

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break ( Modesto,CA - Pacific Daylight Time)

Responsibilities

  • Source and procure IT equipment, software, and services for Data Path Inc and its clients
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms
  • Manage the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfill their IT resource needs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in an IT or tech company
  • Strong understanding of IT equipment, software, and services
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems
  • Basic understanding of contract terms and conditions
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
