Job Summary
Participates in the successful design, development troubleshooting, and implementation of applications to meet business requirements. In partnership with other team members, including more senior developers, the design and development of software systems will be carried out in a timely manner.

                         

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
  • Adheres to the team's defined SDLC best practices, including use of templates and source control.
  • Participates in story writing/estimating/backlog refinement sessions.
  • Follows department guidelines regarding time tracking, and work assignment.
  • Debugs and troubleshoots code-related issues/defects.
  • Supports projects and provides ongoing application support in an agile development environment.
  • Delivers solutions and deliverables as part of a squad in an agile development environment.
  • Completes assigned tasks within the established time estimate.
  • Provides after hours support as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in information technology /computer science related field preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED required

Certifications:

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience developing ASP.NET, VB.NET and/or C# applications required.
  • Basic understanding of database and application services preferred.
  • Offset:  Associates degree and 1 year of experience developing ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL and/or C# applications.
  • Preferred Typescript and Python experience strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:
