Job Title
Senior Technical Consultant, Radiology Informatics

Job Description

In this highly visible customer-facing role you will be the technical leader of client projects with accountability for their success. You will work very closely with the technical consultants assigned to each of those projects acting as a mentor for them and will meet regularly with other Senior Technical Consultants, R&D and Support.

Your role:

  • Work with the Solution Architect, as requested, for initial customer meetings and workflow information discovery to handoff to implementation. Be a subject matter expert and technical advisor for assigned areas of the application.
  • Mentor Technical Consultants to assist with their competency development and serve as the technical escalation point for your assigned projects. Be the lead for the transition and work with R&D to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with other technical resources to advise project manager and delivery leadership on risk mitigation and identify process improvement opportunities to deliver the product and services to the field more efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate as an on-call resource for weekend go lives and stay abreast of changes to hardware and software solutions.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the Vue PACS/VNA solution and how the solution supports customers’ workflows. You will not be expected to be competent in the delivery of every aspect of the solution, but you will be expected to understand the solution at an extreme level of detail that will enable you to quickly and accurately diagnose problems.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, other related fields or equivalent combination of academic and work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare information technology or equivalent combination of related experience and education - experience in radiology or cardiology informatics, or similar domain preferred
  • Strong analytical capacity with excellent diagnostic skills and knowledge of hardware solutions, virtual computing environments, networking solutions, Oracle Database, SQL, DICOM and HL7
  • Superb customer service skills and delivery, including high-level professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of clinical workflows.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a Field based role with travel up to 50% of the time.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $106,875 to $171,000 annually.

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $112,500 to $180,000 annually.

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $118,125 to $189,000 annually.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $126,000 to $201,600 annually.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
