ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Hiring Range: $100,400 - $133,000.The Healthcare Services Senior Project Manager oversees multiple highly visible key initiatives with strategic insight of enterprise objectives, mentors other project managers, leads project teams and ensures quality and timely delivery of projects. The Senior Project Manager coaches team members and coordinates internal resources across departments to support the timely delivery of Performant payment integrity products, services, and implementations involving new or existing clients. This Senior Project Manager must possess exceptional leadership skills in order to drive strategic objectives and advance all assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities
Develops and manages large and complex key initiatives to ensure accurate and timely project deliveries.
Key point of contact for escalation purposes and contributes to intricate solutioning for complex projects.
Champion of learning, process improvements, and expediting and streamlining project management tasks and responsibilities.
Able to effectively share information and transfer knowledge to functional areas to ensure strategic objectives are met and understood.
Oversees multiple projects with adherence to PMO policies and processes and mentors team members to follow.
Drives innovation for system, process, and technology that support organizational growth and strategy
Oversees project team to ensure all project tasks are completed on a timely basis; resolves team and project conflicts, provides project leadership to cross-functional team members, escalates project risks to leadership proactively.
Responsible for written and/or verbal communication & dissemination of critical project information from customers to internal areas and executive leadership.
Subject Matter Expert across all Performant systems
Proactively anticipates risk and develops mitigation plans
Interacts with customers in a professional manner and responds quickly to internal/external requests.
Perform other incidentals and related duties as required and assigned.
Examples of Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project plans and build templates for streamlining all project documentation/artifacts.
Lead estimation gathering for level of effort on complex key initiatives.
Facilitate and lead kick off meetings and manage ongoing project meetings with both internal and external clients.
Manage and coordinate work with key stakeholders on projects.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related business or industry or equivalent business experience
10 or more years working as a Project Manager with proven ability to execute complex projects
3+ years healthcare industry experience
Experience working with external third-party vendors
JIRA experience
Experience with MS Office Suite
PMP Certification a plus
2+ years of leadership experience a plus
