The Corporate Strategy Senior Associate conducts in-depth research and analysis to drive enterprise strategy and business growth. Based on those analyses, the individual synthesizes the information and develops strategic recommendations along with supporting business cases for those recommendations. The Corporate Strategy Senior Associate collaborates closely with strategy colleagues, business leaders, and product managers when developing business cases. This role requires strong research and analytical skills to synthesize complex information into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities. Gather qualitative and quantitative industry data from multiple sources (e.g., publicly available sources, subscribed databases, expert interviews, and from internal UOPX business units) to inform enterprise strategy.
Analyze internal data to uncover trends, anomalies, and performance gaps, providing insights that drive operational efficiency and proactive risk management.
Synthesize collected data and information to derive and articulate actionable insights. Identify strategic opportunities aligned with enterprise strategy.
Partner with business leaders to identify areas for cross-functional strategic alignment. Work in conjunction to define problem statements and hypotheses. Organize and carry out data gathering and alignment meetings with initiative stakeholders. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and reports for discussions of strategic recommendations, insights, and business cases
Manage internal strategy SharePoint and creating strategic communications to enhance visibility and transparency of enterprise priorities and key initiatives across the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Minimum Education And Related Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration)
Four (4) years of experience in consulting, including managing execution of technology products
Experience leading and driving multiple complex projects spanning multiple departments
Additional Qualifications
MBA with a demonstrated record of success or equivalent business and analytical background
Top-tier strategy consulting, product management, or project management experience
Higher education industry experience
Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data; diagnose complex product and business challenges; formulate solutions; and then support execution of solution
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the higher education landscape and trends, specifically as it relates to online and adult learners
Strong verbal and written presentation abilities to communicate complex strategic topics clearly and articulately
Good attention to detail resulting in a quality work output, and good stakeholder management skills
