Role And Expectations
The Solutions Engineer will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and implement solutions for our clients. This role involves understanding client needs, designing solutions to meet those needs, and working with the rest of our team to implement those solutions.
The Solutions Engineer should not be afraid to dive into code and Cloud services. This person should expect to build prototypes, proofs of concept, and custom applications using JavaScript within our existing platform. They should feel comfortable working within a developer flow, using a developer environment and code versioning tools. Understanding of automated testing, feature flagging, and deployment pipelines will help this person use the existing tooling to successfully execute their projects.
This person should be able to work independently, troubleshoot and find creative solutions to solve problems. They will not be tied to an engineering team but should be willing to collaborate on occasion with our Enterprise Architect, Cloud Manager, and others within Engineering.
This role will report to the SVP of Product and Strategy.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product & engineering teams to understand customer requirements and business objectives
Utilize internal APIs and components, integrations and utilization of 3rd party components to build customer solutions
Present demos, forms and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the potential of our product
Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process
Work with product development teams to design new features or enhancements
Train and optimize AI models to ensure integration and performance within client solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related experience
Proven work experience as a Solution Engineer or similar role in engineering or services
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
5+ years' experience with C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience building SPAs with Angular is a plus
Skill at estimating work, and diagramming and documenting solutions
Familiarity with development tools such as git, unit/e2e tests, and feature flags
