Responsibilities
Directs infusion business operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization. Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies.
- Directs the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of infusion with a focus on operationalizing infusion business decisions.
- Leads system governance to drive development, maintenance, expectations, and awareness around infusion business standards.
- Models leadership and teaming excellence by providing appropriate advice and counsel to improve effectiveness and identify collaborative opportunities for the department.
- Supports the development, monitoring of and compliance with national budget(s).
- Organizes operations to provide high quality, cost effective services with high employee and patient satisfaction.
- Utilizes broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct infusion business operations and ensures accountability for the department's compliance.
- Develops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.
- Participates in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of services to meet all productivity plans.
- Coordinate and integrate services to meet contractual requirements.
- Conduct ongoing assessments, maintain quality control programs, and improve departmental operations.
- Direct staff. Manage departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction.
- Identify marketing and collaborative opportunities for the department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse Licensure preferred. Required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or Business
