Job description

The successful candidate will be able to work at our office in Warsaw or remotely in Poland.

We are looking for an Animation Artist to join our RPG department, which develops and supports RAID: Shadow Legends – a mobile MMORPG that combines battle collection mechanics and cutting-edge graphics in a dark fantasy setting. As our flagship title, it is enjoyed by more than 100 million players worldwide. The game was featured in numerous countries by Google and Apple.

The successful candidate will join the team responsible for creating unique rigging and animation for characters and bosses according to the project’s features. There will also be an opportunity to work on character animations in collaboration with the globally recognized IPs, such as He-Man, Monster Hunter, Xena: Warrior Princess and more, as well as celebrities, including Ronda Rousey and Ninja.


Responsibilities

  • Creating animations for game characters
  • Developing new ideas for animation creation
  • Improving knowledge and skills of working with animation as well as mocap recording and clean-up
  • Optimizing and setting up the pipeline, enhancing the effectiveness of animation creation processes


What we expect

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of dynamic anatomy, posing, and principles of body mechanics
  • Firm knowledge of Autodesk Maya
  • Ability to create animations for fantasy creatures and anthropomorphic characters
  • Experience creating animations for battle scenes and champion showcase screens
  • Artistic and acting skills
  • Ability to record and analyze own video references to improve the animation quality
  • English language skills at the intermediate level or higher


Desired

  • Advanced knowledge of the various creatures’ anatomy
  • Experience recording and editing mocap
  • Knowledge of facial animation principles
  • Basic knowledge of rigging and skinning
  • Experience working in Unity
