The Opportunity
We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer with deep expertise in learning science, instructional design, and analytics, with a strong background in security and data protection. The ideal candidate will have experience developing learning programs tailored to cybersecurity, cloud security, and data protection best practices. This role will focus on designing scalable training programs that empower customer-facing teams, particularly in sales enablement and technical training, with security-related content.
This position is critical in evolving our learning strategies by leveraging data-driven insights to create impactful training solutions that support our customers in navigating today’s complex security landscape.
What You’ll Do…
- Lead the development of learning and training content, emphasizing security, compliance, and data protection best practices.
- Apply learning science principles and adult learning methodologies to create engaging, effective learning experiences tailored to security professionals and customer-facing roles.
- Develop scalable training solutions, including self-directed, instructor-led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and hands-on technical labs for security-focused learning.
- Create security-specific enablement content such as compliance guides, cybersecurity playbooks, risk mitigation training, and data protection strategy materials.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales teams, security teams, data protection SMEs, product teams, and sales enablement leaders, to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with security industry standards.
- Act as a thought leader in security-focused learning, bringing innovative approaches to training within the cybersecurity and data protection space.
- Support customer-facing teams by providing ongoing security education that enhances their understanding of cyber resilient market trends, cyber threats, and data resilience strategies
- Maintain high-quality standards for all sales related learning materials, iterating on content based on cybersecurity trends, compliance changes, and learner feedback.
- Align training materials with company branding, messaging, and go-to-market security strategies.
- Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of security training programs, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing learning strategies.
- Utilize assessment tools to evaluate knowledge retention and areas of improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats, industry regulations, and advancements in cybersecurity training.
- Drive the evolution of security and data protection-focused learning programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance mandates.
- Support security enablement initiatives, helping customer-facing teams build confidence in discussing our solutions with security personas.
Who You Are…
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Cybersecurity Education, Learning Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in content design and 5+ years in learning experience design, with a focus on security, data protection, or compliance training.
- Experience developing sales enablement materials with an emphasis on security and risk mitigation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance frameworks, and risk management concepts.
- Proficiency in e-learning development tools (Articulate, Adobe Creative) and LMS administration, with experience in cybersecurity training platforms a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage learning analytics to drive improvements in security-focused education programs.

US Pay Range
$54,400—$149,730 USD
