The Senior Designer is an integral part of the BASIC/DEPT® team and helps to provide support to one of its major clients. You will design experiences that set the standards for others to follow. You do this through conceptual direction, production, sketching, prototyping, and planning. You are design-focused, detail-oriented, excellent at collaborating and multitasking, and eager to be part of a team that makes things come to life.
This person will regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment and will be involved in design, digital experience, eCommerce and lifestyle, and technology content to create experiences that deeply connect with people. Leadership is exciting to you but you’re also willing to follow others because you understand that great ideas can come from anywhere. You possess a strong design intuition and want to continue to learn, grow and challenge yourself. You also have a strong desire to ensure that clients are extremely satisfied with our services and products. In addition, you possess strong problem-solving skills and a track record of success. You will be dealing with multiple personality types, and need to be able to adapt based on the person you are working and communicating with.
In your role, you will report to the Design Director, who will drive the strategy and direction for the creative and design team. You will support the strategic goals of the company by focusing on the success of these activities and assisting with meeting the short and long-term objectives of the organization.
This is a 3-month contract with the potential to extend to 6 months.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $85.00 - $100.00. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
