About the Opportunity
We're in search of a talented and experienced Polish Language Manager to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you'll lead our efforts in localizing and managing content for Polish users, ensuring our products offer exceptional localized experiences. The position requires a strategic mind, well-versed in localization best practices, SEO, content optimization, user feedback gathering, and multi-tasking abilities to deliver superior localized user experiences and product outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborate with localization managers to spearhead language quality initiatives, conducting localization reviews and testing to pinpoint linguistic and functional discrepancies, thereby ensuring the optimal local user experience.
Lead localization projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. This includes consistent communication and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders such as the product team, marketing team, and external translation agencies to align on project goals and timelines.
Partner with content and marketing teams to ensure all localized content is optimized for SEO, improving visibility and performance in search engines for Polish users. Apply local keyword research and search trends to maximize content discoverability.
Drive efforts in content optimization, ensuring all product, marketing, and UI/UX elements resonate with Polish users and align with local linguistic and cultural preferences.
Serve as the champion for local customers by researching and gathering user feedback on products and services. Offer insights on UI, UX, and design for products and content to enhance the local user experience.
Work in tandem with the vendor manager to assess language service providers, delivering feedback, training, and managing the performance of these vendors to uphold high-quality standards.
Offer guidance and oversee the maintenance of translation assets, ensuring their accuracy and relevance.
Engage with cross-functional teams to provide insights on local market potential, identifying opportunities or threats, and analyzing competitor activities by segment/country within the region to inform strategic decisions.
Ensure that all localized content adheres to brand guidelines while maintaining a unique brand tone of voice that appeals to the Polish market. This involves turning complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling copy that drives conversion rates and enhances user engagement in the Polish market.
What We Look For In You
Native fluency in Polish and business proficiency in English.
A BA or equivalent in a relevant field such as translation, linguistics, etc.
Demonstrated experience in Polish translation, localization, or Language Quality Assurance (LQA) with a proven track record of leading localization projects from inception to completion.
Experience in conducting localization reviews, testing, and managing language quality initiatives to optimize the user experience for the Polish market.
Proficiency with localization tools and technologies, including Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS), is essential for efficient project management and quality control.
Experience in creative translation and transcreation, with the ability to adapt content to fit the cultural context of the target audience.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and external vendors.
Ability to conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and provide insights on UI/UX design to enhance the local user experience.
Experience in assessing and selecting language service providers, including providing feedback, conducting training, and managing vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Nice to have experience with SEO and content optimization, including keyword research, and applying best practices to maximize discoverability and engagement in the Polish market.
