Description
Overall, this individual should have a proven track record of consistent performance as sales. As a nature of this strategic role, the individual should be passionate about revenue achievement, commercial strategy development and execution excellence. A good level of business acumen is critical for success. He/she will build ethical business relationships with customers and internal stakeholder (Marketing, Clinical education, Finance, iTero OOS, Commercial Excellence and operation) to ensure expansion of our products to New Doctors and gain market share by focusing on high value activity and selling.
- Deliver annual commercial target
- Execute clear/ ambitious strategic plan. Develop and implement New Doctor Acquisition (NDA) activities to address sales growth strategies and goals. Strong working relationships with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Education, iTero OOS, Commercial Excellence team are particularly critical.
- Lead cross functional initiatives with collaboration supported by Director/Manager
- Establishing account relationships with new customers and potential customers
- Supporting the educational pathway, practice development including the provision of practice events aimed at business generation
- Proactively communicating with customers and potential customers
Key Responsibilities
Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Drive growth and revenue through diverse existing and new channels
- Work with Director/Manager to set strategic Plans in the respective area for the future
- Ensure the effective fulfilment of objectives and deadlines assigned on an individual
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
- Report back to Director/Manager with all assigned reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives in the responsible area
- Maintain and strengthen KOL of strategic products
- Provide trainings to team members and PDM in NDA/NDO knowledge, selling skills, and territory management, SFDC, and Align Terms and Conditions of Business
- Evaluate PDM and provide frequent feedback bases on the analysis of sales data
- Keep close communication and cooperation with PDM, Marketing and Clinical Education departments involved in setting area marketing plan and clinical events
- Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of the company's products
- Travel according to business needs
- Other duties may be assigned
- In charge of sales amount of some KOLs or big accounts directly.
Additional Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to
- Director/Manager and/or Human Resources
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
- Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
To perform this job successfully, the individual must have mastered the skill set of a Sales Specialist and in addition, must have demonstrated the skill set required of NDA Business Development or show the potential to demonstrate the required skills. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High integrity
- Analytical and logical thinking, business planning skills, presentation and negotiation skills
- Capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1-3 years' sales experience is advantageous
- Experience within Medical device or Healthcare sales is advantageous
- Background as dental Doctor/therapist/hygienist/technician and acquired valuable knowledge of the industry and its products will be advantageous
- Leadership in his/her assignments and tasks
- Degree level with BS or BA preferred
- Used to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of time management skills
- Good IT skills, including all Microsoft packages and proficiency in using modern multi-media tools
WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS
Regular business hours. Some outside hours in evenings and weekends may be required from time to time
