Job description

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language services provider that offers in-person, video, over-the-phone, and written options for translation, interpretation, ADA remediation, transcription, language assessments, voice-over, and website localization. Founded in 2010 by mother and son duo Jennifer Hanna and Tom Elias Hanna in their garage in San Diego, CA, Hanna has grown to more than 75 employees, served over 1 million non-English speakers to date in 250+ languages, and has sponsored countless outreach events to serve the local community.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued clients, nurturing and expanding these relationships to drive service usage and revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with our business development and implementation teams, reporting to the Revenue Ops Manager, and contribute significantly to our sales and customer retention strategies. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Checking customer use of services on a weekly basis to find opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests, education opportunities, or issue escalations as needed
  • Work closely with various departments such as implementation, sales, scheduling, accounting, and quality assurance to provide excellent customer experience
  • Attend and offer clients monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Attend client-held events as needed

  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Bay Area
  • Passionate about providing language services that help people connect

  • Enjoy networking (even virtually), attending industry conferences, and building relationships with clients and referral sources
