Remote Admissions Counselor (Contractor Role)

Quantic School of Business and Technology is seeking a remote Admissions Counselor (Contractor) to join our dynamic team. This is a 1099 contract role for an initial term of 3 months, with the potential to extend or convert into a longer-term opportunity. The position is fully remote, offering flexible hours and an opportunity to engage with impressive global applicants for our modern MBA and Executive MBA programs.

Compensation & Terms

• Hourly Rate: $35 per hour
• Hours: 15-25 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension or conversion
• Invoicing & Payment: Contractors will invoice monthly, with payments processed within X days of invoice submission
• Software & Access: Quantic provides all necessary software and system access for the role

Responsibilities

• Conduct student interviews with professionals from diverse industries, backgrounds, and cultures
• Represent the Quantic brand while engaging with applicants, assessing their fit for our MBA programs
• Communicate professionally and effectively with senior-level executives and entrepreneurs
• Maintain detailed records of applicant interactions and contribute to the admissions evaluation process

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. & physically reside in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or other graduate-level degree is a plus
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience engaging with senior executives or professionals
• Availability for training and development during daytime hours (Eastern Time)
• Ability to work nights, mornings, and some weekends (Eastern Time) as needed
• A computer capable of running video interviews and Quantic's admissions software (see recommended specifications below)

• A self-starter with a growth mindset and strong work ethic
• 5+ years of experience in business-related fields with a solid understanding of business concepts and terminology
• Ability to work in a quiet, professional home office setting

Computer Requirements

Applicants must have a computer that can reliably support video interviews and the necessary software for this role. Below are the recommended minimum specifications:

• Processor: Dual Core 2GHz or higher (i3/i5/i7 or AMD equivalent)
• Memory: 8GB RAM or more
• Operating System: Latest macOS X or Windows 10
• Video & Audio: Functional webcam and microphone for virtual interviews
