Job Overview: 

Tactacam is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Product Development to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. This role will report to the PMO Director and will be responsible for leading and overseeing the product development lifecycle for Tactacam’s innovative product lines. The Senior Project Manager will drive project execution from inception to completion, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality consumer products on schedule. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering market-leading consumer products. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Lead and manage multiple projects through the entire Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), from initial concept to commercialization. 

● Oversee the product backlog, sustainment, and development work-in-progress, ensuring smooth execution across internal and external teams. 

● Drive project execution using Agile/Scrum methodologies, leading project delivery meetings and managing sprints effectively. 

● Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, customer service, and overseas ODM/OEM partners to ensure alignment and successful product outcomes. 

● Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring transparency and accountability across stakeholders. 

● Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope. 

● Document, communicate, and track meeting outcomes, action items, and deliverables, including engagement with international partners in different time zones. 

● Support quality assurance processes, including product validation and beta testing efforts. 

● Manage firmware release development, control, communication, and documentation. 

● Partner with marketing, sales, and retail teams to ensure accurate and effective content development for product launches.

● Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, leveraging Visual Management tools to communicate status, issues, and risks. 

● Continuously improve project management processes, utilizing the latest methodologies, tools, and best practices. 

● Support special projects related to product strategy and development, including research and presentation development. 

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience: 

● Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management, Project Management, Business, STEM field, or a related discipline. 

● 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in consumer product development, software development life cycle, engineering, or go-to-market strategy. 

● Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner, or similar) is preferred. 

● Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders. 

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across teams. 

● Ability to reliably work and consistently communicate in a remote team environment across multiple time zones. 

● Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. 

● Proficiency in project management tools such as Atlassian Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Slack, and Teams. 

● Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and a desire to contribute to Tactacam’s product innovation.
