Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced sales operations professional to analyze sales data and solve critical business challenges. The Sales Support Analyst role includes basic reporting, focusing on identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve sales performance. In addition, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and translating data into actionable insights and recommendations, to support sales strategies and drive business growth by optimizing sales performance. Experience working within a sales operation’s organization is essential.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

• Data analysis:
  • Gathering and reviewing sales data from various sources like CRM systems, market research, and sales reports to identify key trends and patterns via Power BI reporting. 
• Sales forecasting:
  • Utilize existing reporting capabilities to monitor sales performance and create accurate sales forecasts. 
• Reporting and presentation:
  • Creating detailed sales reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to sales leadership and stakeholders. 
• Sales strategy development:
  • Collaborating with sales teams to develop data-driven sales strategies based on analysis findings. 
• Identifying areas for improvement:
  • Pinpointing areas within sales processes that can be optimized for increased efficiency and revenue generation. 

Qualifications

Requirements

• BS or BA degree
• 2-5 years of associated work experience in sales operations or sales related role

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and ability to interpret complex data sets and maintain data integrity.
• Proficient in Power BI & data visualization
  • Ability to create clear and impactful charts and graphs to present data findings.
  • Proficiency in writing DAX to create calculated columns, measures, and custom aggregations in Power BI.
• Excel and data analysis software expertise:
  • Familiarity with advanced Excel functions and data analysis tools like Power BI.
  • Detail oriented and effective at ensuring high levels of quality in assigned tasks.
• Project Management:
  • Proven experience in all phases of project management, from planning, organization and requirement gathering to execution and follow-through in a cross-matrix organization.
• Effective Communicator:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to sales and leadership and skillfully manage Q&A. 
• Business Acumen:
  • Understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and business goals.
• Problem-Solving:
  • Identifying sales data issues and recommending actionable solutions..
  • Drive improvements in reporting by identifying inefficiencies and collaborate with sales leadership to implement streamlined workflows, enhanced report designs, and optimized data consumption
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Ability to thrive in fast-pace, results-driven environment.
• Strong independent and collaborative work ethic.
• Effectively manages timelines, prioritizes tasks, and coordinates with stakeholders to deliver new views or solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
