We specialize in our Recruitment-as-a-Subscription-Service (RAASS™) model, which is designed to provide cost-effective, high-impact recruitment solutions for Government, Non-Profits, Legal, Healthcare, and Wellness sectors.

As we continue expanding, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will play a crucial role in driving new business from government and non-profit organizations. This position offers a 6-month contract with the potential for full-time employment based on performance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven business development professional who will focus on securing new government and non-profit clients for our RAASS™ recruitment solutions. This is a high-impact role that requires a strong network within local, provincial, and federal government organizations, non-profits, and member associations.

Your primary goal will be to introduce and position our RAASS™ model as a game-changer in recruitment, helping organizations streamline hiring while reducing costs. If you are a seasoned sales professional with an established book of business or strong industry relationships, this is an opportunity to grow with a company that values innovation, collaboration, and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Secure new government and non-profit clients by leveraging existing relationships and developing strategic outreach plans.
  • Client Acquisition: Drive subscription-based recruitment sales, positioning RAASS™ as the go-to hiring solution.
  • Relationship Building: Develop long-term partnerships with decision-makers in government agencies, non-profits, and member organizations.
  • Sales Growth: Meet or exceed revenue targets by bringing in new RAASS™ clients consistently.
  • Strategic Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients through networking, events, and digital outreach strategies.
  • Consultative Selling: Educate clients on the benefits of RAASS™ and Executive Search services, demonstrating how they can save 57% in hiring costs compared to traditional models.
  • Market Expansion: Play a key role in expanding our reach across North America, contributing to destinationone’s long-term growth strategy.

Requirements
  • Proven Business Development Experience: Minimum 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within government, non-profits, recruitment, or consulting.
  • Established Network: Existing relationships within local, provincial, or federal government sectors and non-profits are required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with recruitment services, executive search, and North American labor markets is an asset.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to present, pitch, and close deals with C-level executives, HR leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Self-Starter & Strategic Thinker: Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to operate in a remote, autonomous environment.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and digital outreach tools.
