SUMMARY
Analyzes and evaluates business requirements, consults with personnel from various departments, and identifies areas for the development of technical solutions to automate and/or improve business processes. Provides recommendations on new or enhanced systems, software, upgrades, and modifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs and develops RPG ILE applications in support of corporate objectives.
Creates and deploys web services for the company and corporate partners.
Creates and maintains service programs and business logic.
Ensures applications are of high quality and delivered in a timely manner.
Presents a professional image of the company through verbal and written communications.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires an Associate’s Degree in Information Systems/Technology or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
Must have at least 5 years of experience and comprehensive knowledge of the RPGIV free format language.
Thorough understanding of service programs and ILE.
Experience with SIS Insurance is strongly preferred.
Ability to work and collaborate as a part of a team.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with team members.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Must have the ability to design and develop RPG ILE applications and web services; must be able to create and maintain service programs and business logic.
Requires a high degree of attention to detail to ensure applications are high quality and delivered in a timely manner.
