Job description

Great Plains Communications is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing team.  

This is a fully remote position.

This position will be focused on managing the streaming GPC iTV video product, residential product management, feature enhancements, operational integration of product offerings, and product migration strategies. Will drive product development and planning processes. Leads financial modeling and business modeling for existing products and new revenue opportunities; articulates findings to management. Takes leadership role in evaluating emerging technological trends across sectors of the market. Executes product and pricing strategies for services.

Duties include:

Executes tactical plans necessary to support strategic direction, unit performance, and revenue commitment for residential and enterprise products including all Voice, Video, Internet, WIFI and future services. 

Manages all customer-facing and vendor contract language pertaining to video products and services including MSA, SLA, AUP, T&C, etc.

Manages and coordinates cross-functional teams to develop and implement new offerings according to schedule and within budget by facilitating communication and prioritizing technical and operational efforts.

Determines pricing, bundling, reporting, and forecasting. 

Trains and serves as an information resource for new customer service, salespeople, sales engineers, etc. regarding our products.

Assists in the development of customer user-interface (UI) strategy.

Ensures ongoing maintenance, updates and new content.

Drives product development and planning processes.  

Leads new product implementations and existing product lifestyle management.

Assists in ensuring regulatory compliance.

Provides input and assists in defining detailed product/feature and customer experience requirements for budgeted initiatives approved for development.  

Defines the business rules, primary use cases and functional requirements.

Displays knowledge of current technology and products, including but not limited to video,  internet, wi-fi, and bundling strategies for all current and potential territories Great Plains Communications serves.  

Knowledge of current systems/applications are preferred including NISC, Salesforce, Tableau, and MS Excel and PowerPoint. 

 

Undergraduate college or university degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or equivalent desired.

5-7 Years – in Product Management or Product Development is required; experience in the video product management and/or telecommunications industry is strongly preferred. 

Project Management Professional Certification is desired.
