6+ months of proven experience editing TikTok videos or similar short-form content. Proficiency in editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects. Strong understanding of TikTok’s algorithm, trends, and audience preferences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling. Experience with motion graphics, text animation, and sound design is a plus. Portfolio of past TikTok or short-form video edits is required for consideration.

Core responsibilities:

Edit and optimize short-form videos specifically for TikTok, ensuring high engagement and virality. Implement trending transitions, effects, and editing styles to keep content fresh and competitive. Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align videos with brand voice and campaign goals. Enhance videos with captions, animations, and sound effects to maximize audience retention. Stay updated on TikTok trends, challenges, and platform algorithm changes to refine editing strategies. Manage and organize raw footage, ensuring efficient workflow and content turnaround. Analyze video performance metrics and suggest improvements for increased engagement.
