Description

Position Summary

This role supports Nufactor Managed Markets and Operations by coordinating and maintaining contracting efforts with Managed Care Organizations (MOCs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), Individual Practice Associations (IPAs), and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).  Responsibilities include organizing, updating, and centralizing contract-related data to ensure efficient management of agreements.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Maintain and update the Reimbursement by Health Plan spreadsheet, including:
    • Pulling and updating multiple pricing methods (Redbook AWP, RJ Health AWP, WAC, ASP) monthly
    • Requesting and updating health plan, Medicaid state fee schedules, and Medicare pricing as needed
    • Coordinating pricing and fee schedule changes in CPR+ and maintaining contract records
  • Manage and organize contracting materials, including agreements, amendments, and databases for commercial, PPO/network, Medicare, Medicaid, and PBM contracts.
  • Assist Managed Market Directors with applications, credentialing, recredentialing, LOAs, and pulling required documentation per requirements.
  • Prepare pricing proposals using data from the Reimbursement by Health Plan spreadsheet.
  • Generate reports from Care Tend BI or similar platforms as needed.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Reimbursement, Managed Markets, Accounting, and Compliance teams to ensure timely contract reviews, approvals, and distribution.
  • Handle contract indexing, uploading, and tracking across company databases (shared drives, SharePoint, ConvergePoint, etc.).
  • Support bid preparation by coordinating data collection and contract comparisons.
  • Research and complete forms for contract certification, regulations, and vendor compliance.
  • Maintain and update NCPDP site information, including licensures and annual attestations.
  • Develop or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Required Knowledge:

  • General understanding of healthcare industry concepts and processes.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Managed Care, Health Insurance contracting, and drug pricing.

Required Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in healthcare management, sales, clinical services, or customer service.

Preferred Experience:

  • Five (5) years’ experience in managed care/markets, understanding of specialty pharmacy and contracting procedures with health payers is desirable.

Required Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and contract processing.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong decision-making skills.

  • Ability to communicate ideas constructively and positively.
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed.

Physical requirements

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled.  Must have the ability to lift and maneuver items of at least 20 lbs. Working condition include normal office setting.
