CMS Developer - Shopify Apps

Job Summary:

We are looking for a part-time CMS Developer with expertise in Shopify app development to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and integrating Shopify apps, ensuring seamless functionality and enhanced e-commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and optimize Shopify apps for performance and scalability.
• Work on Shopify's Liquid templating language, GraphQL, REST APIs, and webhooks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify apps and themes.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to implement new features and UX improvements.
• Ensure the security and efficiency of Shopify apps by following best coding practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, APIs, and e-commerce trends.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Shopify app development.
• Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify APIs (GraphQL & REST).
• Experience with Node.js, React, or Vue.js for Shopify app development.
• Familiarity with Shopify CLI, Polaris UI framework, and app extensions.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
• Prior experience in developing public or private Shopify apps is a plus.
