This is a remote position.

With a globally distributed team spanning over 35 countries, they are solving critical challenges in blockchain technology, including consensus mechanisms, real-time data services, and Layer 1 solutions. Our client is seeking a Smart Contract Engineer (Rust/Move) to develop and optimize blockchain infrastructure and DeFi applications. This role involves designing and deploying Move smart contracts, enhancing DeFi solutions, and ensuring the security and efficiency of blockchain protocols. You will collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team while staying at the forefront of blockchain advancements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain blockchain infrastructure using Rust and/or Move programming languages.
Design, implement, and deploy Move smart contracts for various DeFi applications.
Optimize smart contract architecture to improve performance and security.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality development.
Research and integrate blockchain security best practices to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Prepare technical documentation and lead the team in improving blockchain solutions.
Stay updated on blockchain advancements and contribute to open-source projects

Requirements

4+ years of experience with Rust, with a deep understanding of its unique features and best practices.
Hands-on experience in smart contract development, particularly with the Move programming language.
Strong understanding of DeFi protocols and blockchain fundamentals.
Knowledge of smart contract security best practices and the ability to identify vulnerabilities.
Experience with Solidity and Ethereum smart contract development is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
