Job description

Job Summary:

The Strategic Client Manager will focus on a priority list of clients, building unique relationships and specific success plans to proactively address their needs. This role is responsible for driving value, maintaining and advancing growth strategies, managing daily operations, client retention, risk management, and ensuring overall reference-ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement success plans with defined actions, owners, and timelines for each client.
  • Drive value and revenue growth while managing daily operational processes and interactions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of client organizations and the healthcare landscape.
  • Foster strategic relationships to deliver consistent client accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to unify efforts for client success.
  • Measure and derive insights into client engagement with our solutions.
  • Create value attainment measurement and reporting to demonstrate client ROI.
  • Align clients with the TruBridge Reference Program to drive improved satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate with TruBridge Financial Health teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Proven ability to build and maintain complex client relationships.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining strategic partnerships at the C-suite level and across all client organization levels.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and client organizations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in managing operational processes and driving growth strategies.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client priorities, focusing on common results.
  • Highly organized and efficient in time management.
  • Connected to all life cycles of client relationships, including sales, implementation, and support.
  • Skilled in identifying opportunities to adjust contractual scope and reach common agreements.
  • Continuously grow client reference-ability and ensure clients actively promote the value of the partnership.
  • Develop and establish best practices for client profitability management, including invoicing, accounts receivable, cash collections, write-off processes, and contractual interactions.
  • Serve as the escalation point and operate with urgency to resolve issues requiring executive attention.
  • Own the client relationship and overall execution with assigned clients.
  • Track and report client status, outlining clients at risk, accomplishments, and driving mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within TruBridge, collaborating with the sales team on growth opportunities.
  • Team-oriented, focusing on constructive feedback, process improvement, and developing best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years in client relationship or strategic account management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with revenue cycle business and financial processes.
  • Proven success in driving client satisfaction and retention.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on issues to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team knowing when and how to utilize appropriate SME’s across the organization.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen and connect the dots for client benefit.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-10 plus years of experience with strategic account management, healthcare, health information systems or related field
