About the Role & Consensus:

Consensus is the most diverse gathering of the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 communities, produced by the award-winning crypto media outlet CoinDesk. The Consensus event now heads to Hong Kong & Toronto, setting the stage for the most important conversation in crypto and Web3. 

We are seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer to produce event marketing materials for next year’s the Consensus events. This is a contract role where you will support the event marketing & creative teams in bringing the event’s vision to life and participate in various project-based initiatives that will contribute to the overall success of the event. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating memorable event experiences. 

What You’ll Do:

• Design Production: Produce visually appealing graphics based on design guides & templates for event marketing materials, including print ads, out of home, social media posts and banners for web & email.

• Image Resizing and Optimization: Resize and optimize images for different platforms and formats, ensuring high quality across all digital and print media.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to understand design & content  requirements.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive look across all event-related materials.

• File Management: Organize and deliver design files with clear file naming & governance, ensuring easy access and version control.

• Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine designs and meet project specifications.

• Building emails in the email client to ensure optimum design

What You Have:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, & Google Workspace

• Fluent understanding and ability to extend brand guidelines and expressions into marketing creative assets for events

• Excellent sense of crafting and attention to detail, with ability to make context-aware edits on what to keep or drop in asset variations

• Proofing abilities, attention to detail when it comes to copy

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, delivering on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to track feedback from various stakeholders.

• Proactive proponent of naming your layers! 

• Design automation thru marketing tools and/or AI experience as a plus
