Job Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and managing a high-performing sales team in a contact center environment or otherwise. 
  • Sales Performance Management: Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance, analyze data, and implement effective sales strategies. 
  • Training and Coaching Expertise: Proven ability to train, coach, and develop sales team members. 
  • Lead Generation and Compliance: Experience in generating outbound calling lists and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others. 
  • Analytical and Reporting Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience in generating sales reports and performance analysis. 
  • Motivation and Team Building: Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals. 
  • Productivity Management: Expertise in managing team productivity and optimizing workflow. 
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems, Google sheets and workspace tools, and other relevant software. 
  • Experience within a similar Sales Team Leader/Manager role (essential). 
  • Experience with electronic products and B2B is desirable with experience in solar, refrigerators, freezers, chillers, cold rooms Air conditioners and Heat pumps. 
  • Experience working directly with external stakeholders (desirable). 
  • Experience with generating your own leads and managing outbound calling campaigns. 
  • Understanding of green products or have worked in the electronics industry with air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, solar or heat pumps (desirable). 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, or a related field (desirable).


Core responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Management: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Inbound/Outbound Sales Executives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. 
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. 
  • Monitor team performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, average deal size, call handling time) and implement strategies for improvement. 
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. Manage team scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow. 
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues and provide effective solutions.
  •  Sales Performance and Analysis: Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth. 
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Forecast sales performance and provide accurate projections to management. 
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance updates to Head Office.
  • Expertly manage team productivity and ensure efficient use of resources. 
  • Training and Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills. 
  • Develop and deliver training materials and resources to support team development. 
  • Identify individual training needs and provide personalized coaching and support.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as a conduit between the sales team and Head Office, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals and objectives. 
  • Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure seamless customer experience. 
  • Possess incredible communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, customers, and stakeholders. 
  • Lead Generation and Compliance: Generate outbound calling lists through research, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., Do Not Call Registry, privacy laws).
  • "Wash" and cleanse data to maintain list accuracy and compliance. 
  • Ensure the team adheres to all company policies and procedures, including those related to data security and customer privacy.
  • Provide leadership & support for direct reports, appraise their performance.
  • Ensure team & individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. 
  • Role model & hold others accountable for demonstrating our values & behaviors. 
  • Drive improvements in function / team. Drive & implement innovation & improvement in function/team.
  • Systems Processes & Policy: Ensure all policies & procedures are adhered to, including compliance obligations.
  • Ensure key function policies are in place & are current. 
  • Provide governance & support for all operational manuals, quality frameworks, collateral, process guides etc. 
  • Client & Stakeholders: Establish & maintain effective working relationships with managers, peers, employees & key stakeholders both internal and external. 
  • Establish & manage effective relationships with key stakeholders, internal & external, including with functional & industry associations, vendors & leadership team.
