About the Role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist (Cash Receipts Specialist) will be responsible for data entry and daily receipt of cash into the organization.

What you’ll do

Data entry and processing of cash receipts thru paper checks, ACH, credit card processing. Currently processing approximately 1,200 payments monthly.
Monitor bank transactions and reconcile customer remittance advice to deposits
Continuous dialogue with the accounting team regarding skipped invoices, duplicate payments, over payments, short payments, misapplied payments, missing or inadequate remittance advice, and any other matters requiring additional research.
Work closely with Accounts Receivable to assist with sending statements/invoices, following up on skipped invoices, sending requests for payment, verifying billing information with new customers, etc, as needed
