The Securities team lies at the heart of Wealthsimple’s mission —a powerhouse responsible for all things securities data across the organization. Whether it’s forging strong integrations with data providers or delivering lightning-fast, highly accurate pricing, metadata, and charting in our apps, this team ensures our clients and internal stakeholders have the insights they need to succeed. We don't stop at powering client-facing applications; we also serve as the foundation for our internal teams, from reporting to data science to enabling smarter decisions across the board. Covering every investment vehicle—from stocks and options to crypto—this team makes the complex world of securities data simple, seamless, and scalable.

The Identity Trust team safeguards Wealthsimple's platform by managing user access and permissions. This includes verifying user identities, determining access privileges, and implementing any necessary additional verification steps. They ensure only authorized users can access the platform and perform permitted actions. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of Wealthsimple's services.  

The Ledger team will spearhead the creation of our real-time ledger, a pivotal project aimed at transforming our financial transaction processing. This initiative involves building a system capable of ingesting high-volume, real-time data, ensuring accurate and immediate balance updates, and seamlessly integrating with our Cash app's transaction feed. The team will navigate complex challenges related to data integrity, system scalability, and real-time data processing. We need a leader who can effectively manage agile development processes, drive technical execution, and ensure alignment with our strategic business objectives, ultimately delivering a robust and reliable real-time ledger solution.
