The Opportunity: Senior People Business Partner (Remote - USA / Canada)

As a Senior People Business Partner, you will be responsible for partnering with managers to solve organizational challenges through strategic and thoughtful people-oriented solutions. This role will primarily focus on supporting our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) and G&A teams. You will develop strong knowledge and understanding of how our business works in order to support your managers in building the teams they need to be effective. You will also support other activities within the People team, including learning & development.

What you’ll do:

  • Advise, coach, and influence people leaders on all people-related matters, including: performance management, coaching, career pathing, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development.

  • Translate business goals into people recommendations to continuously improve team effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with the broader People team to maintain, innovate and design strategic and pragmatic solutions to improve engagement and performance.

  • Drive change management efforts, ensuring employee and stakeholder impact are at the forefront of decisions and that changes are executed based on company values.

  • Guide managers and leaders on sensitive employee relations matters while partnering with employees as a trusted confidant and advocate.

What you'll have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an HR Business Partner/People Business Partner role supporting a diverse set of teams in a fast-growing company. Experience working with technical teams (engineering, product) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships across all levels of an organization.

  • Proficiency leveraging an HRIS and other People systems (namely, Lattice)

  • Strong knowledge of performance and engagement tools and best practices.

  • Experience partnering with people leaders to understand their organizational objectives and drive team member on-boarding, engagement, and performance management to ensure objectives are met.

  • A proficient understanding of HR Compliance knowledge and understanding of both Federal and State requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, HRCI/SHRM certification a plus.
